⚡ Quick Check: Is your code not working?
Before you reach out, 90% of code issues are solved by checking these four things:
✅ 1. Check for 'The Sneaky Space'
When you copy and paste your code into the discount code box on the retailers site, it’s easy to grab an extra space at the start or end.
The Fix: Delete the code and manually type it into the box, or ensure there are no gaps.
✅ 2. Read the 'Exclusions'
Many brands don't allow student discounts on certain items.
Common Exclusions: Sale/Clearance items, Gift Cards, Delivery fees, or "New In" collections. Check the brand's T&Cs on their Offer on the Student Beans brand page.
✅ 3. One Code at a Time
Most retailers only allow one promotional code per order.
The Fix: If you’ve already applied a 'Free Shipping' or '10% off if you sign up for their email' code, you may need to remove it to use your student discount.
✅ 4. Refresh Your Session
If you generated your code a few days ago, or have items awaiting in your basket - it might have timed out.
The Fix: Go back to the brand page on Student Beans, hit 'Get Code' again, and use the freshest one available.
