It can be a little confusing to see a discount percentage shift from one day to the next, but there is usually a very good (and usually rewarding!) reason for it.
The brands we work with are constantly updating their offers to give you the best possible value. Here are the most common reasons why the percentage might look different:
Limited-Time "Boosted" Offers
We often partner with brands to run Limited Time Discounts (e.g., a jump from 10% to 20%) for a short period, like over a weekend, or during key times of the Student Calendar e.g. Back to School or Black Friday.
If the percentage has then dropped, it likely means a limited-time boosted promotion has ended and the discount has returned to the brand's standard "base" rate.
Pro-Tips to never miss a high %:
Turn on App Notifications: On the Student Beans app, simply follow your favourite brands and we’ll ping you the second a boost takes place, so you can grab it before it expires.
The best way to keep up with this is to have the notifications turned on for our app and to follow us on social media (Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook) so that you can keep up to date with any exclusive and limited offers as soon as they drop.
